La Dolce Vespa offers up an inspired essay on driving in LA. Her truest point: LA drivers get it done, and they do so by exhibiting a great deal of communal heart. This is the kind of thing I'd blog about if I had more than 7 minutes' worth of attention to give any one topic. Thank goodness other people do, or I wouldn't have any books to read and then where would we be?

I totally love this link...it's so right on. Driving in LA is an art form...or as dad does it "combat" form. I think he may fit in the jerk exception column a little too often though. And she's right, it's long and rush hour was over before I finished reading it!
This was hilarious! And so true. I'm just glad I knew all the rules.
I was looking at Alicia's wedding photos that my dad took, which by the way you are officially on the Dunham screen saver slideshow, and I just wanted you to know how beautiful you are. I know what your thinking right now but Seriously Courtney you are a beautiful lady. I know this is random and has nothing to do with this entry about the LA freeways, lets just blame it on the pregnancy. Now I will go read your awesome blog.
On the Vespa topic, I'm glad someone finally canonized what we already new. Maybe we can print that and start passing it out to the new folk who move in.
On the blog front, I am pretty sure I've mentioned my limited blog world at least once or twice. Ok, so maybe it was only once, but seriously, I am pretty challenged when it comes to blogging. So it doesn't seem like something to spread too far.
new = knew... gets me every time.
Courtney,
It's been forever since we have seen each other. You are the funnest person to be around, I miss you a ton. Love ya chick-a-dee, Julie Allred
